Happy New Year from Milan
Happy New Year to all the readers of this blog.
I am in Milan right now.
I saw 2 performances of Paquita and one of Casse Noisette (The Nutcracker) of Paris Opera Ballet and "Tchaikovsky Gala" of Teatro alla Scala.
As for Paquita, Matthias Heyman was so great! His bravura technique, his elegance, the sweet character... All the audience went crazy with his leaps and pirouettes.
I am sure he will become Etoile in the near future.
And young dancers of POB, Audric Bezard and Gregory Dominak as two officers of Paquita were also fine with polished technique and grace. Axel Ibot was a very cute Fritz in Casse Noisette with a good solo of Spain too. Laurenne Levy and Mathile Froustey were also vey beautiful in the Pas de Trois in Paquita.
The gala at Teatro alla Scala, Roberto Bolle was just gorgeous! So fine acting and elegant polished technique. He was so beautiful to be true. Polina Seminova was also vey beautiful. It was a unique gala...during the divertissments of act 3 of Swan Lake there was a Rose Adagio and Bluebird PDD, Nutcracker grand PDD and I think you will be seeing this on DVD.

素敵な年越しですね！
バレエ初心者の私は昨日パリ・オペの「ノートルダム・ド・パリ」のDVDを観て、「バレエって素敵〜」と唸っておりました。
マチアス・エイマン君、去年ちらっと「バラの精」を見れたのですが、次の機会が待ち遠しいです。
今年もnaomiさんのブログを楽しみにしてまいります。

新年おめでとうございます！去年はogawamaさんと知り合えてとてもよい年でした。英語の書き込みに反応ありがとうございました。
私もまだ初心者に毛が生えた程度です^^;
「ノートルダム・ド・パリ」も映像は持っていますがまだ観ていません。観なくちゃ！
マチアス君は本当にすごかったです。断然応援しちゃいます。また日本に近々来てくれるのではないかと期待します。
